James (Jimmy) Wilson, CSSM
Founder & Principal Consultant
James “Jimmy” Wilson, CSSM, is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Wilson International Public Safety Group. He brings more than 28 years of experience across military service, law enforcement, corrections, private security, emergency management, contract oversight, training, and organizational leadership.
Throughout his career, Jimmy has also served as an instructor and training coordinator across multiple disciplines. He has designed lesson plans, delivered in-service and specialized instruction, led scenario-based and tabletop exercises, and developed on-the-job training programs addressing leadership, emergency response, operational readiness, policy implementation, report writing, and workplace communication.
His career has included tactical-team leadership, internal investigations, accreditation management, training coordination, high-risk correctional and security operations, personnel supervision, regional security programs, and oversight of complex service and contract portfolios.
Throughout his career, Jimmy’s work has focused on leadership, accountability, operational readiness, risk reduction, emergency response, compliance, performance improvement, and responsible stewardship of resources.
Jimmy holds the Certified in Security Supervision and Management credential through the International Foundation for Protection Officers. Through Wilson International, he applies his experience to practical advisory services, security and risk assessments, emergency-management and contingency planning, leadership development, training, contract oversight, and organizational improvement.
Mary Wilson
Director of International Programs & Training
Mary Wilson brings a multidisciplinary background spanning higher education, contract and project coordination and oversight, innovation, curriculum development, Spanish-language and Spanish-immersion education, and school-safety operations in Colombia and the United States.
In Colombia, Mary worked for more than 20 years at Universidad Nacional de Colombia, where she coordinated various types of projects as well as the Specialized Consultative Training Program. She also developed extensive experience as a university professor at several institutions, teaching courses and contributing to programs related to business administration, innovation, research, and project evaluation.
In the United States, she has led Spanish-immersion Montessori classrooms and gained hands-on school-safety experience operating weapons-detection systems and supporting security-screening procedures.

Together, Jimmy and Marelbis (Mary) Wilson bring complementary experience in security, emergency preparedness, contract oversight, leadership, training, education, Spanish-language coordination, and international program development.
