James (Jimmy) Wilson, CSSM
Founder & Principal Consultant
James (Jimmy) Wilson is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Wilson International Public Safety Group. He brings more than two decades of experience spanning military service, law enforcement, county jail operations, state and federal corrections, community corrections, private-security leadership, contract oversight, public safety training, and emergency response.
Throughout his career, Jimmy has led high-risk operations, supervised security and correctional personnel, managed regional security programs, trained staff, and overseen multimillion-dollar contract portfolios. His work has focused on strengthening compliance, performance, accountability, operational readiness, and responsible stewardship of public resources.
His professional credentials include the IFPO Certified in Security Supervision and Management credential and Level II Contracting Officer’s Representative certification. Through Wilson International, he provides practical guidance grounded in experience, disciplined leadership, and measurable organizational improvement.
Mary Wilson
Director of International Programs & Training
Mary Wilson brings a multidisciplinary background spanning higher education, contract oversight, innovation, curriculum development, Spanish-language and Spanish-immersion education, and school-safety operations in Colombia and the United States.
In Colombia, Mary served as a professor at Universidad Nacional de Colombia, where she taught innovation and held responsibilities involving contract oversight. In the United States, she has led Spanish-immersion Montessori classrooms and gained hands-on school-safety experience operating the weapons detection system and supporting security-screening procedures.
As Director of International Programs & Training, Mary contributes Spanish-language and cultural expertise to support respectful communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
Her combination of institutional, educational, bilingual, and security experience strengthens Wilson International’s work in training development, international program coordination, cultural adaptation, and relationship-building with organizations in Colombia and Latin America.
